NS-8 Rough Skin Treatment 100g

1. Apply NS-8 Rough Skin Treatment twice daily, massaging gently into the skin.
2. Massage into the affected area three times daily.
3. NS-8 Rough Skin Treatment is suitable for hands, elbows, arms, legs and knees.
4. A temporary tingling may be experienced, this is normal.
5. Do not apply to weeping or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
6. For cracked heels use NS-8 Heel Balm Complex.

KEY ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:

• Urea: Humectant, hydrating, healing, commonly used to treat ichthiosis, hyperkeratotic skin disorders (skin thickening). 
• Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol (Coconut derived): Petroleum free emollient 
• Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride (Coconut extract): Emollient (softens the skin) 
• Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Naturally derived from fruit and milk): Keratolytic, exfoliation, break down the build up of thickened and calloused skin.
• Zinc Complex: Essential skin nutrient. 
• Grape Seed Oil (Grape seed extract): Anti-oxidant, emollient
• Evening Primrose Oil (Evening Primrose seed extract): Contains gamma linolenic acid, which helps promote health skin growth, anti-oxidant, emollient, helps reduce trans-epidermal water loss.
• Aloe Vera (Certified organic Aloe Barbadensis juice): Contains over 100 natural amino acids, vitamins, essential minerals, polysaccharides and enzymes. Anti-inflammatory, humectant, hydrates, stimulates collagen production, keratolytic (removes dead skin cells), balances pH, anti-pruritic (relieves itching), astringent (tones skin).
• Calendula (Marigold extract): Anti-Microbial, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, soothing.
• Arnica (Arnica Montana plant extract): Anti-inflammatory, external wound healing properties.
• Allantoin (Comfrey root extract): Healing and soothing, anti-inflammatory, keratolytic (removes dead skin cells), stimulates new cell growth, humectant, anti-irritant.
• Emu Oil: Anti-inflammatory, penetrating, hydrating, rich source of natural vitamin E.
• Witch Hazel (Witch Hazel extract): Anti-inflammatory, soothes, skin toner, astringent

WHAT ARE THE WARNINGS:

Do not use this cream on weeping or broken skin.  If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

WHAT IF I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN?

NS-8 may cause a temporary tingling feeling. The ingredients are all natural, however if you experience irritation, discontinue use.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NS-8 HEELS AND ROUGH SKIN?

They both have the same active ingredients and can both be used on the body and feet however the NS-8 Rough Skin is designed for rough skin on the body as most people will only put a heel balm on their heels and are reluctant to apply it to other (rough) parts of their body 

WHAT IS THE PERCENTAGE OF UREA?

NS-8 contains 15% Urea plus other coconut based moisturisers unlike some rough skin treatments which are based mainly on a high concentration of Urea.  

WHAT IF I AM ALLERGIC TO NUTS?

The only NS product with a nut extract is NS-7, which has sweet almond oil extract.  NS-8 is therefore fine to use. 

WHAT IF I AM ALLERGIC TO WHEAT/GLUTEN (COELIAC DISEASE)

The NS range has no wheat-derived ingredients and therefore is unlikely to cause any problems with a wheat/gluten allergy. (Excluding NS-21 which has Yeast PolySaccharide sugar derived from wheat).

IS IT SAFE TO USE WHEN PREGNANT?

Yes, definitely there are no concerns during pregnancy

IS IT SAFE FOR DIABETICS? 

Yes, NS-8 has been endorsed by the Diabetic Foundation.

ARE NS PRODUCTS TESTED ON ANIMALS?

No

HOW MUCH LACTIC AND MALIC ACID IS IN THE NS-8

We cannot disclose exact percentages, as we need to protect our formulation however we can say that NS-8 contains approximately 4%-5% of Lactic and Malic acid

Rough skin gone

After being happy with the NS-8 Heel balm I thought id try this product for my dry elbows. My elbows are not too bad just a bit dry which can make them slightly rough and usually i just use a moisturiser. However in using the NS8 Rough Skin Treatment I found my elbows became smooth and soft much quicker then they do when i use a normal moisturiser. The feature I liked about this product was that it moisturised but it also exfoliated away the rough skin. All in all a great product ill keep using
